CT Technologist and Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET)
2. JOB DESCRIPTION
Computerized Tomography:
o Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose film, develops and documents PACS imaging, as well as the Intergy system. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of imaging procedures. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, medical staff, patients, vendors, and service personnel. Performs venipuncture, and administers IV contrast.
Positron Emission Tomography/ Nuclear Medicine:
o Performs PET procedures to include Oncology, Brain imaging for dementia, and occasional Sodium Fluoride Bone Scan studies. In the Nuclear Medicine Department, performs a variety of imaging procedures that require knowledge of how different organs function in order to get accurate information. Handles radioactive materials while maintaining safe radiation safety practices. Gives IV injections of radioactive materials to patients in order to obtain diagnostic quality images for the detection of cancer. Maintains accurate dosing records as well as following the guidelines mandated by our Nuclear Medicine License. Must have a basic understanding of CT imaging and the use of ionizing radiation. Must maintain daily Quality Control procedures on the camera and dose calibrator. This includes wipe testing on dose delivery containers to ensure no radioactive contamination is present.
Prefer applicant with both rad tech and nuc med license.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
