Program Assistants - Adult Day Care - Part-Time Flexible Hrs.
To assist in Adult Day Services Program
Will assist in planning and delivering assigned therapeutic activities.
Evaluate and implement level of assistance need with clients (i.e. ambulation, toileting, transfers, eating, etc.)
Ability to plan and manage assigned tasks independently and flexibility as needs require.
Observes individual and facility safety policies and procedures
Communicates and document participant's specific observations, interests and needs.
Plan and conduct small and large group therapeutic activities.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High school diploma/GED or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides requisite knowledge, ability and skills to perform the essential functions of the position, including working with elders with cognitive and physical impairments.
CNA or Certified Activity Professional preferred.
Established ability to work with individuals with dementia or adults with special needs
Valid Florida driver's license, proof of insurance and a Level II background check are required for this position. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
