America's Best Builder is adding to our dynamic team as we open new communities in Lee, Collier, Sarasota, Manatee and Hillsborough Counties. We are seeking a LIfestyle Director to manage our Community Amenity Center in Venice, FL! Great opportunity!!!
Objectives:
This person provides an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests of residents at Grand Palm in Venice, FL. The programs will be designed to provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, relaxation, and opportunity to express creative talent for homeowners.
Qualifications:
College degree or comparable work experience in social or recreational programs. HOA experience is preferred.
Proficient in appropriate computer skills, office equipment and exercise equipment as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate should be personable and highly motivated with exceptional customer service and relationship skills.
Ability to coordinate and conduct meetings.
Ability to set and achieve goals and meet deadlines.
Professional manner, discretion and appearance.
Responsibilities:
Provide an activities program, including evenings and weekends.
Develops and plans a diverse calendar of enjoyable programs and activities appropriate for each community such as: fitness and wellness programs, aquatic programs, sports, life enrichment classes, special events, and social events.
Opportunity for resident involvement in planning and implementation of the activities program.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
Assess resident's needs and develop resident's activities goals.
Foster community support of the activity program (e.g. through newsletters, fliers, networking, activities).
Participate and administer in developing a budget.
Assists in conducting new resident orientations including introduction to the amenity center at Grand Palm.
