Sales Performance Manager
Job Purpose
Our Sales Performance Managers are critical to the success of our counter sales initiative here at Avis Budget Group because they are not only responsible for identifying sales opportunities and revenue growth strategies at our retail counters, but they must also be effective trainers and coaches that are capable of implementing our counter sales goals. This exciting sales position partners with local and area leadership to deliver strategies focused on revenue growth in support of business objectives in their assigned locations
Sales/Customer Service
Act as an internal expert and partner with Operational Leadership to help assess, measure and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities connected with counter sales effectiveness and customer service behaviours for the customer's positive rental experience.
Partner with local managers to identify and analyze areas of revenue generation opportunities for products and/or services in support of business goals and to monitor the sales associates' effectiveness throughout the process.
Demonstrate full understanding of effective customer service and sales concepts
Consistently meet or exceed goals and holds self and others accountable for excepted results. Essential that best qualified candidate possess strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
Performance Analysis
Demonstrate full understanding of effective customer service and sales concepts Clear, fact based understanding of current sales performance and future opportunities
Assess and analyze business needs with recommendations on training plans and programs to enhance knowledge and skills Plans based on clear understanding of all relevant factors which can impact success
Work cross functionally between various departments to help measure, analyze and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities. Well informed employees with all the information needed to optimise performance
Identify and analyze areas of revenue generation opportunities for products and/or services in support of business goals and monitor locations overall effectiveness throughout the sales process.
Demonstrate an ability to get to the root of a problem and utilize resources to provide appropriate solutions as well as addressing issues or complaints in a timely manner.
Analyze location's performance and understanding of goal setting
Coordinate communication related to counter sales initiatives, products and processes. Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals up, down and across the organization and ensure that information is shared accurately and as appropriate.
Demonstrates an ability to organize and express ideas and inform clearly, accurately and effectively through verbal and written means
Lead and participate in various meetings and conference calls with a wide range of participants.
Must have excellent administrative and organizational skills utilizing MS Office Suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Consult, train, mentor and coach local managers and associates in areas that include revenue generation performance issues and overall sales effectiveness. Environment of continuous learning/feedback; managers asking the right questions and demonstrating a coaching style
Execute local sales training programs and keep updated on new training methods and techniques in partnership with cross functional training departments in country. Positive evaluation of training events and strong correlation between attendance and improved skill levels
Develop and maintain training materials related to sales initiatives including presentations, job aids, participant handouts, virtual class materials, and other resources.
Effectively and efficiently coach others on specific sales techniques
Demonstrate an ability to coach one on one and hold individuals accountable for results and prove timely and specific feedback to improve performance.
Facilitate classroom size training/presentations
Able to build trust and rapport with others to deliver results and interact positively and professionally with all levels internally and externally
Degree or equivalent
Bi-lingual: Native language and fluent in the English language
3 years of progressive experience in sales and/ or sales development
Plus 1 year of managerial experience
1 year or more working in a fast passed and changing environment
Special Circumstances
Ability to travel 60-70%

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
