The Director is responsible and accountable directly to the CNO/Assistant CNO for operations, Clinical Practice, Human and Financial Resources, Guidance, and Staff Education. He/she maintains the lines of communication, and assumes responsibility as a representative of Administration, when necessary. The incumbent will use an interdisciplinary approach by planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating the flow of patients in a Critical Care setting. He/she will participate in interviewing, counseling, disciplinary actions, and the evaluation process.
Education/Training:
- BSN and MSN required
- Clear/active Florida RN license
- BLS license
- ACLS license
Skills/
Experience:
- 5 years of Critical Care experience
- 5 years Management experience in Critical Care
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to work with various computer systemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
