We are seeking motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associates to join our team.
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service when assisting customers with their packing and shippping needs, as well as promoting The UPS Store products and services.
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner, determine customers needs and how to exceed their expectations - Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries - Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promote them to customers - Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighing packages, accessing shipment manifesting software, generatng labels, etc.
May require retrieving packages from customer's vehicle when requested.
- Assist customers in selecting the right packing and shipping products for their needs and offer/promote additional services that could benefit them - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently in the point of sale system - Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products - Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes properly - Assist customers with product returns, such as Amazon and cable boxes - Maintain a clean and organized store by assisting in stocking shelves in a clean and orderly apperance, as well as light cleaning/housekeeping duties - Operate computers, copiers, fax machines, etc in a safe and efficient manner - Other duties as assigned Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Organizational skills to maintain an organized sales floor - Phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries over the phone - Experience is desirable, but not required Join our team as a The UPS Store Sales Associate and be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
