Come join our team and work in a creative environment! The maintenance person performs a variety of maintenance tasks.
Attendant is responsible for the cleaning, stocking supplies and maintenance of the bathrooms.
Attendant will be responsible for ordering the supplies for cleaning and bathroom supplies.
Set up and break down all chairs, pedestals and tables used for exhibition, demos, concerts, meetings and events at VAC, with some events having over 350 people, to include all other needed logistics (electric, bar set up break down, art hanging, light arrangement, etc.
) Adjust lighting change the outside letters on the sign and hang banners for each new exhibition.
Perform daily inspection of interior and exterior areas of the center.
Report any needed repairs.
Pick up trash, limbs, etc.
as needed.
Ensure grounds (inside and out) are free of safety hazards.
If hazard is noted, ensue hazard is reported and properly marked for the safety of all guests and staff.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Provide excellent customer service to facility patrons and renters.
Provide input and a positive working relationship with all staff and guests.
Attendant will also interact with customers to ensure excellent customer service and assist at other sites and/or special events as needed.
