Summary:
Job Summary Welcome to First Physicians Group Searching for dynamic personalities to join our team providing excellent customer service in our primary care and specialty care offices.
Provides administrative support for patient related activities, which include patient scheduling, patient check in, checkout, medical records and follow up activities.
Provides excellent customer service and directly interacts with patients daily.
Obtains authorizations as indicated by patients' insurance company.
Handles collections of monies from patient at time of checkout.
Observes strict confidentiality in handling patient information.
Able to problem solve and use critical thinking skills to find solutions.

Qualifications:
Require computer, keyboard and data input skills.

Require dependability/reliability.

Qualifications:
Prefer some college or vocational training.
Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a physician office.
Prefer knowledge of EHR/EMR.
Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.
Prefer skills in all Microsoft office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access).
Prefer a professional, neat appearance with strong oral and written communication skills.
Prefer basic knowledge of third party payers.
