Within this operating model, the purpose of the Business Acceleration division is to expand and diversify marine participation via high growth shared access offerings and new business incubation for Brunswick, focusing on end consumer solutions (B2C) and opportunities that increase new boater participation. The acquisition of Freedom Boat Club (Freedom) in May 2019 was a game-changer and established Brunswick (and Business Acceleration) as a leader in boat clubs and the Boating-as-a-Service marketplace. Freedom is exceeding growth, financial and synergy targets. Significant growth opportunities remain in the U.S., Canada and EMEA through a company operated and franchise business model. Within the corporate territories, growth has been driven by accelerating membership sales in existing territories while acquiring and diversifying the territory footprint, resulting in the doubling of locations in the past few years. In parallel, Freedom has capitalized on a strong network of franchise operators to accelerate its path to unrivaled scale. Job Summary & Responsibilities The CFO of Freedom is responsible for the oversight and execution of all fiduciary responsibilities, including the generation of monthly financial statement preparation and forecasting of future expectations in the areas of revenue, expenses, earnings, and key performance indicators that drive financial outcomes. A successful candidate will serve as a primary advisor to the President by recognizing business/financial trends that inform the focus of the management team's efforts and identifying opportunities for additional reporting in areas of importance. Partnership with the President and Management team will yield enhanced profitability, strong business momentum, and nimble response to evolving/dynamic business needs. Oversee the financial activities of the assigned business units, for the complete integration of all accounting issues and services including accurate and timely profit center financial statement production, billing and account statement production and disclosure development. Ultimate leadership of all accounting functions including the various financial statements preparation, Accounts Receivable activities, Accounts Payable, cash management and signing of checks and approvals of ACH and wire outflows, etc. Provide updates to Treasury and Brunswick Corporate Sr. Management Team on bi-weekly cash calls. Regularly provide accurate summarized reports based upon business transactions and responsible for timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets. Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, and enhance the Company's value. Assure income, sales and any applicable tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes. Serve as trusted business partner for President and Sr. Management of FBC for views on various business processes and analyses. Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports. Analyze, perform updates, schedule and complete various tasks as assigned. Serves as the leadership for the accounting staff and employees of FBC, including general office leadership at Freedom HQ in Venice, FL. Interacts with and business leader for a diverse group of important external contacts and visitors such as members and franchisees, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Must have advanced knowledge of all accounting aspects and processes, possess working knowledge of payroll, income tax and banking operations to perform the essential function of this position. These skills and are usually obtained through a combination of formal education and /or 10-15 years of experience, preferably in the marine or recreation membership industries. Bachelor's degree in Accounting plus CPA certification beneficial and preferred. This is a hands-on accounting, forecasting, budgeting and managerial position. Strong analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, and prioritize work. Must have strong leadership, and a high level of interpersonal skills to handle management presentations and confidential situations. Must possess a variety of computer software applications, spreadsheets, database, word processing and presentation software. QuickBooks, Oracle and Microsoft Office platforms. Work requires continual attention to establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
