We are searching for a Training Curriculum & Safety Manager to own the continuous improvement of our training and safety programs. Training Curriculum (70%) The training curriculum responsibilities of the role include overseeing the Freedom Boat Club (FBC) member and staff water trainings, as well as teaching programs that ensure compliance with education standards according to our internal policies and insurance requirements. This position is responsible for planning and designing new curriculums and updating existing curriculums to reach these goals. The main objective of the training curriculum owner is to ensure that members and staff are fully trained and that they continue to receive ongoing training so that they perform and execute skills according to FBC expectations. Plan, design and update curriculum including, but not limited to, New Member Orientation, Intermediate Boat Operation & Advanced Boat Operation/Open Water, Train The Trainer (T3) instruction modules Create teacher instructions for modules, as well as training for any supporting equipment and technology Lead in-person and online trainings Provide recommendations and update course materials based on input from a variety of stakeholders Prepare handouts and other materials to be used during trainings Assess the quality and effectiveness of existing training programs throughout the FBC network and make recommendations Safety (30%) The safety management responsibilities of the role include responsibility for day-to-day compliance with health and safety laws. This role will be supported by Brunswick's health and safety team but will be a local resource to ensure our docks, marine centers and offices are operating under the best safety practices. Review and establish policies that create and maintain a safe workplace Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessment and schedule all safety training Create training programs and continued educational programs that can be rolled out across our FBC network Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs Logistically schedule, plan and monitor the use and movement of safety equipment, as needed Collaborate closely with operations, the Brunswick health and safety team, and the home office team to ensure we are meeting or exceeding the safety standards of the company Ensure all near miss, accidents and workplace incidents are investigated, reviewed by a peer team and corrective or future preventive measures are put in pace company wide Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training programs and health and safety services Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records Travel occasionally to various sites for visits and trainings Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5
years of relevant experience Current US Coast Guard license Experience establishing new procedures and providing trainings in a professional setting Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to review data and identify patterns Extensive problem-solving skills to prioritize and act when needed Organizational skills to stay on track of priorities and provide thorough and digestible information Excellent communication skills to produce clear guidelines, disseminate information, and work across multiple functions Extremely organized and good communication skills - so information can be presented in a logical manner than people can follow Strong technology skills including the Microsoft Office suite
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Recruitment & Placement, Environmental Health & SafetyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
